EAS Transport Planning

EVOLUTION THROUGH PARTNERSHIP

EAS Transport Planning specialises in highway access and design, transport planning and flood risk assessment. They work with developers, local authorities and infrastructure projects to navigate complex planning requirements and deliver practical engineering solutions.

They apply their expertise from feasibility, through the planning process, to detailed design and implementation on site. As one of our longest standing clients, we’ve worked together through three iterations of their website as both the company and web design trends have evolved.

About EAS Transport Planning

EAS has built their reputation on technical excellence and practical solutions. Whether it’s navigating complex planning applications, designing sustainable drainage or managing highway improvements, they deliver results for developers, local authorities and infrastructure projects across the UK.

Over the years, we’ve watched the company grow from strength to strength. But growth brings change, and staying current matters in a competitive sector where first impressions count.

The Problem

This wasn’t a crisis situation. EAS’s previous website was working fine. But “fine” isn’t always good enough. The company had evolved. Their capabilities had expanded. Their team had grown. And web design had moved on significantly since their last major update.

More importantly, their competitors were investing in their digital presence. In a sector where technical credibility matters, an outdated website can create the wrong impression before you’ve even had a conversation.

EAS recognised that their website needed to reflect where the business was now, not where it had been. They wanted something contemporary that would position them properly in the market and showcase their work effectively.

The challenge was evolution, not revolution. This needed to feel like a natural progression that retained what worked while bringing everything up to current standards.

The Solution

We built on the foundation of our previous work together, taking the best elements and reimagining them for today’s expectations.

The new design leads with impact. Dynamic hero images throughout the site immediately communicate the scale and nature of EAS’s work. From major highway schemes to complex drainage solutions, visitors can instantly see what the company delivers.

We restructured the site to make it easier for potential clients to find what they need quickly. Technical services are clearly presented without unnecessary complexity.

Projects are showcased properly, demonstrating capability across different sectors.

The visual approach is contemporary and professional, using EAS’s brand colours to create consistency while letting the work speak for itself. Every page is designed to perform across all devices, ensuring the experience works whether someone’s reviewing a proposal in the office or checking details on site.

We also worked with EAS to optimise the site for search, making sure the technical expertise they offer is discoverable by the people who need it.

The Result

The numbers tell a remarkable story. Between 2023 and 2025, the website saw a 285% increase in users and sessions grew by 220%. That’s not incremental improvement. That’s transformation.

Bounce rate improved by nearly 14% during the period of strongest growth, showing that new visitors were finding what they needed and exploring further. Traffic didn’t just increase; it was higher quality traffic from people genuinely interested in what EAS offers.

The growth pattern shows consistent upward momentum. After the initial surge, traffic continued to grow into 2025 at a more sustainable pace, suggesting the site is performing well in competitive search terms.

Paid search became an increasingly important channel, demonstrating that the site converts well when targeted traffic arrives. But organic growth remained strong, indicating the site structure and content strategy are working effectively.

Most significantly, EAS now have a website that positions them where they belong in the market. It reflects their capabilities accurately and presents their work in a way that builds confidence with potential clients.

What This Shows

Long-term partnerships like ours with EAS demonstrate the value of treating websites as evolving assets rather than one-off projects. This is the third iteration we’ve delivered for them, and each time we’ve built on what came before while adapting to changing business needs and design expectations.

The results prove that staying current pays off. In competitive sectors, your website influences whether you even get the chance to quote for work.
EAS understood that investing in their digital presence wasn’t about vanity. It was about making sure their online representation matched the quality of work they deliver. The traffic growth and engagement metrics show that decision was sound.

We continue to work with EAS, supporting them as their business develops and making sure their website remains an effective tool for growth rather than something they need to apologise for.

If you’re working with a website that’s several years old, it’s worth asking whether it’s still doing its job properly.
