Townsend Church of England School is situated on a large, green site between St Albans and Harpenden, and welcomes applicants from families of all faiths and of no faith.
Children who attend Townsend live in St Albans and Harpenden, as well as other towns in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, including Welwyn Garden City, Hemel Hempstead and Luton.
The Bible-based vision of Love Your Neighbour underpins all they do. Students are taught to respect and care for themselves and each other, and Townsend’s supportive environment encourages them to make the most out of their journey through secondary school. The whole school attends four services every year at St Albans Cathedral and Abbey, which reflects our strong links with the Diocese of St Albans.
The school’s Bible-based vision is taken from the parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10 C 25-37) and has three strands which underpins everything they do.
We worked closely with the school to develop a classy new look and feel for the site that leant strongly on the colours black, purple and gold. We put together a strong brand outline for Townsend School and gave them all the graphic assets they’ll need to present their strong new look.

Gone are the days of expensive, unenvironmentally-friendly paper prospectuses. With a new online prospectus, prospective parents and students can find out everything they want about the school with aerial maps, videos, walkthroughs – the list is endless.
