About TMKA
TMKA (Top Marks Kickboxing Academy) is the leading kickboxing and self-defence academy in Milton Keynes, with a focus on discipline, fitness and community. With a reputation for excellence in the dojo, they train students of all ages and abilities, building confidence and physical well being in various locations in and around Milton Keynes.
But in a digital world, having a good reputation on the mat isn’t enough. To grow their student base and streamline operations, TMKA needed a digital shopfront that reflected the quality of their instruction and made it easy for new students to start their martial arts journey.
Working closely with them, we designed a new website with integrated taster session bookings, video content and clear timetables. The results were immediate with 600% more bookings and website engagement.
The Problem
Before working together, TMKA had a big problem: their digital footprint in Milton Keynes was virtually non-existent. While their classes were great, potential students had no way to find them, view class schedules or understand what the academy offered.

- Content & Authority: We added a blog and a library of instructional videos on technique. This improved SEO (so people could find the site) and positioned TMKA as an authority in the field, giving value to students before they even stepped onto the mat.
- Social Proof: We displayed testimonials from existing members prominently to leverage the power of community to build trust with new visitors.
The Result
The results were almost immediate. By removing the administrative hurdles and creating an engaging digital environment TMKA’s online performance went through the roof.
