Bishop’s Hatfield Girls’ School is a high-achieving academy with a distinctive ethos, enabling girls to succeed in and enjoy their learning. They are incredibly proud of their pupils and their achievements which continue to improve year on year. They emphasise the importance of the individual’s contribution and take pleasure in sharing and celebrating achievement.
This was a fun build with a huge amount of input and help from the school. There are many custom features here such as the homepage panels, the student and staff-submitted news stories and several layers of editing and publication rights in place to ensure only perfect content goes live.
An innovative way to highlight the school’s values was created for the homepage
Staff and students regularly submit news articles for the website. The news posts are automatically generated from the form, including galleries and downloadable documents, and then sent to a member of SLT for editing and publication. All with a couple of clicks!
Several different page templates were created so the school could show off each content type in the best way possible.
